You will coordinate operations during emergencies and disasters, operate emergency centers, and evaluate disaster requirements provided by all State departments and County emergency management agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Two and one-half years of progressively responsible professional emergency management experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift and carry objects of varying weights

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Salary and Benefits:

The State of Hawaii offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including paid holidays, vacation leave, sick leave, and health insurance. The salary range for this position is $5,258 to $6,399 per month.
