Job Title: Registered Nurse

At Iredell Memorial Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission and nursing philosophy.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for prescribing nursing care, delegating nursing activities, and coordinating the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This includes having full access to patient health information and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Prescribe nursing care and delegate nursing activities to ensure effective patient care
  • Coordinate the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care to provide optimal quality care
  • Have full access to patient health information and maintain confidentiality
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse Licensure in North Carolina
  • Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Successful completion of a hospital and unit-specific orientation
Essential Physical Requirements

The Registered Nurse must possess a full range of body motion to pass the basic FIT test, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods of time. The nurse must also be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
