Position Title: Graduate Testing Support Assistant

  • 75% Assist the Testing Coordinator in managing academic testing accommodations for students with disabilities, which includes overseeing exam proctoring and liaising with faculty, staff, and students.
  • 15% Aid in producing accessible print materials for students who require alternative formats.
  • 5% Represent the Student Access Center at various events or orientation activities.
  • 5% Carry out additional assigned responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be an enrolled graduate student at KU.
  • Prior experience with office technology is necessary.
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours during the semester of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Genuine interest in supporting students with disabilities.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication and computer proficiency.
  • Experience working collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Application Process:

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with extended hours during peak exam periods. The Testing Center operates from 7:30 am to 10:00 pm during finals week.
