Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation and cooking of various food items for banquets and events
  • Develop and implement creative menu items that meet the brand standards of HYATT Hotels
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality service and food production
  • Coordinate and implement special events and holiday functions
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and cost control
  • Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment
  • Lead and coach the team to achieve exceptional guest service and colleague satisfaction results
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with training, basic financial management, and customer service
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge and culinary software
  • Culinary education and/or on-the-job training, hotel experience preferred
