Sanitation Specialist

Position Overview:
This role involves responsibilities at various lodging facilities.

This is a flexible position, with potential scheduling ranging from 0 to 40 hours per week based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of this role is to execute a range of basic cleaning duties associated with lodging services.

The following tasks may be part of your responsibilities, though this list is not exhaustive:
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, staircases, and other designated areas.
- Sanitize appliances, utensils, and dishes within guest rooms.
- Make beds and replace linens.
- Collect soiled linens and transport them to designated collection points.
- Clean, disinfect, and deodorize restrooms and toilet facilities.
- Replenish deodorizers, toilet paper, hand towels, soap, and other complimentary items.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment necessary for tasks.
- Report any maintenance issues such as broken windows, leaks, or clogged drains to the supervisor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be capable of frequently lifting and emptying waste containers; pushing carts that may exceed 100 pounds loaded with laundry or waste; and occasionally lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds.

Continuous standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods is necessary.

Additional Information:

Applicants must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territories for three or more consecutive years prior to federal employment are eligible.
