Job Description:

We specialize in custom automation projects and are a major player in the world of controls and robotic solutions around the globe. As our new Automation Contracts Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulations and laws while managing, reviewing, and monitoring business contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, examine, and monitor contractual agreements for materials and labor suppliers.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external contracting representatives.
  • Handle breach of contract scenarios in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement proposals.
  • Research regulations to ensure contracts are updated and compliant with laws.
  • Coordinate with clients to guarantee fulfillment of contract terms and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract documents, and legal specifications.
  • Resolve client complaints and concerns regarding contracts.

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience using PD2 software.
  • Fundamental knowledge of construction techniques, building materials, standards, and equipment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal, financial, and technical documents.
  • Proficiency in arithmetic concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing and supply chain procedures.
  • Proficiency in common office applications.
  • Understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs), occupational safety, and environmental regulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Contract Specialist.
  • Knowledge of legislative and regulatory issues related to contracts.
