About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our dynamic sales team at the Preston Automotive Group. As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the car buying process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customers' requirements and preferences, providing accurate and detailed information about our vehicle inventory, features, and pricing.
  • Negotiation and Sales: Conduct negotiations and present pricing options to customers, collaborating with the finance and insurance teams to secure financing and complete sales documentation.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of current automotive industry trends, products, and competitors, providing expert advice to customers.
  • Follow-up and Follow-through: Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns, meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets and performance goals.

Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in automotive sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment.
  • Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Self-Motivation: Be self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Computer Skills: Possess proficient computer skills, with experience with CRM software a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
