Job Summary

The Center for Orthopedic and Research E is seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of healthcare provider credentials, enabling seamless interactions with payors and hospitals.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of related experience and a strong understanding of credentialing processes, insurance billing, and hospital regulations. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on national averages and industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Review and complete hospital and payor applications for health care providers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date billing insurance grids, provider insurance grids, and individual physician spreadsheets.
  • Monitor and update physician licensure(s), certification, and CME credits.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
