Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Operations Specialist to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our Cyber Security Operations team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive Computer Network Defense and Response support through 24×7×365 monitoring and analysis of potential threat activity targeting the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct security event monitoring, advanced analytics, and response activities in support of the government's mission.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
  • Lead efforts in Incident Handling (Detection, Analysis, Triage), Hunting (anomalous pattern detection and content management), and Malware Analysis.
  • Analyze information technology security events to discern events that qualify as legitimate security incidents as opposed to non-incidents.
  • Implement countermeasures and mitigating controls for deployment and implementation in the enterprise network environment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of related experience in Cyber Security Operations.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills in computer network defense operations.
  • Ability to lead efforts in Incident Handling, Hunting, and Malware Analysis.
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms and/or log management systems.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, OS X, Linux), network communications, and routing protocols.
  • Experience with counter-measures or mitigating controls for deployment and implementation in the enterprise network environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CSSP Analyst certification.
  • Experience with Network Threat Hunting, Big Data Analytics, Endpoint Threat Detection and Response, and workflow and ticketing.
  • Prior performance in roles such as ISSO or ISSM.
Clearance Requirements

TS/SCI required, with the ability to attain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
