KEMTechnology is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Officer to maintain operational security posture for an information system or program. The successful candidate will ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in managing security aspects of the information system and performing day-to-day security operations. They will also be responsible for evaluating security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program
  • Ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed
  • Manage security aspects of the information system
  • Perform day-to-day security operations
  • Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
  • Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification accreditation

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience related to specific functional area
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification
  • Skilled working collaboratively across cross-functional teams of all levels
  • Understanding of moderately complex concepts and processes involved in daily activities
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity oversight, collection, and analysis of threat intelligence, event analysis, and incident response
  • Experience supporting 24x7x365 operations in a cybersecurity, IT, or related watch environment
  • Experience supporting reporting on daily performance and health metrics to provide ongoing situational awareness to Government leadership
  • Experience using incident case management systems to document and report on incidents
  • Demonstrated experience following and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Success in supporting vulnerability management, cyber threat intelligence, and fusion
