Job Title: Second Shift Quality Assurance Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Second Shift Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team at a leading meat processing facility in Western Ohio. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer complaints and product complaints
  • Verify and file daily HACCP and QA documents
  • Conduct third-party audits
  • Liaison with USDA inspectors
  • Write SOPs as needed
  • Monitor all Pathogen testing and Pest Control program
  • Follow all food safety, quality and SQF rules

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Microbiology, Food science or related
  • 1-3 years QA experience in a leadership capacity
  • HACCP certified
  • Working knowledge of plant sanitation practices and regulatory requirements for meat products
  • SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOP and Food defense training
  • Food manufacturing experience
  • Background in inspection and auditing activities
