ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Financial Aid Counselor, your primary responsibility will be to assess financial aid applications, offer guidance to students and their families, and facilitate financial aid workshops. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and effective administration of financial aid for the student body.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
- Assess documentation to establish eligibility for financial assistance
- Deliver financial aid guidance and support
- Create and present financial aid informational sessions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. A minimum of two years of relevant experience in student services or a similar area is necessary. Familiarity with electronic data management and financial aid counseling is advantageous.
