Job Title: Senior Research Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Program Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing research projects, working closely with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage research projects, including developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and community members, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and community members.
  • Coordinate and manage project meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Provide administrative support to the research team, including coordinating travel arrangements, preparing expense reports, and performing other administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, research, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in research coordination, project management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as public health, research, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in research coordination, project management, or a related field.
  • Experience working with older adults, with or without dementia, and caregivers from a clinical and/or clinical research perspective.
  • Qualitative research experience, including experience developing, administering, and analyzing results.
  • Experience with surveys and/or literature review.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move about.
  • Ability sits for an extended period of time.
  • Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.
  • Ability to see within normal parameters.
  • Ability to hear within normal range.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
  • Three years related experience.
  • Additional education may substitute for required experience, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Five years related experience. Master's Degree (or equivalent degree) in public health or related discipline with an emphasis in aging, epidemiology, qualitative data analysis with clinical interest, and a minimum of one year of progressive experience in the following areas,
  • Project management experience in clinical or clinical research
  • Health services research experience
  • Community outreach or stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Qualitative research experience, including experience developing, administering, and analyzing results.
  • Experience with surveys and/or literature review.
  • Experience working with older adults, with or without dementia, and caregivers from a clinical and/or clinical research perspective.

JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.

The pre-employment physical for positions in clinical areas, laboratories, working with research subjects, or involving community contact requires documentation of immune status against Rubella (German measles), Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Varicella (chickenpox), Hepatitis B and documentation of having received the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccination. This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing.
