This is a leadership position responsible for the operation of multiple facilities and providing overall direction by developing Asset Protection strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all associates and maintaining compliance with Walmart's environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement Asset Protection strategies to achieve network-level safety and shrink reduction goals.
- Provide guidance to business leaders on issues related to asset protection, including workplace safety, compliance, and security.
- Direct the consistent execution of the company's asset protection practices, systems, and personnel-related activities by auditing asset protection practices.
- Ensure facilities in the network are prepared for crises by building and sustaining trusting, collaborative relationships and alliances with government and non-governmental agencies.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.
- Be a trusted advisor, developing strong and trusting relationships with business leaders to solve issues, address pain points, and implement strategies that increase overall safety, security, and compliance of the organization.
- Oversee business performance, conducting deep dive analysis on issues affecting performance metrics and implementing corrective actions.
- Produce compelling presentations and training, developing and delivering clear, cohesive, and skillful communication regarding safety, security, and compliance.
- Work cross-functionally, collaborating with Supply Chain business partners to deliver best-in-class Asset Protection solutions.
- Work autonomously, managing the above responsibilities with limited manager oversight.
