Maintenance Technician

This is an Operations position responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Fuel and inspect all delivery equipment daily to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular checks on fluid levels and tire pressure to prevent equipment failure.
- Assist the fleet shop as needed to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate with night warehouse management to prepare equipment for use.
- Perform trailer washing duties as scheduled to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Ensure the parking lot remains clean and free of debris.
- Support night truck spotters in organizing the truck yard for efficient operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Ability to learn and operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks.

- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
