As a Sr. RF/Microwave Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge RFICs for deployment in space and ground infrastructures around the globe.

Job Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced RF/Microwave engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll work alongside world-class cross-disciplinary teams to develop next-generation RF front-end systems, simulate and model RF circuits, and evaluate prototypes and components. Your expertise will be instrumental in enabling connectivity in places it has previously not been available, affordable or reliable.

Responsibilities
  • Derive RF HW specifications for the RF system and RF blocks
  • Develop RF/microwave circuits, components, MMICs, board and packages
  • Evaluate and characterize prototypes and RF components
  • Assist in the development of automated test equipment for lab measurements
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, computer science)
  • 2+ years of research and/or industry experience in RF/microwave circuit design
  • Strong understanding of RF passive components and radio related test equipment
  • Experience characterizing radio performance at microwave frequencies
Preferred Skills

While not required, experience with:

  • ADS, HFSS, AWR, or similar tools for RF design
  • Matlab, Python, C++, or equivalent programming languages for modeling and analyzing RF systems
  • Digital communication theory with emphasis on bit error rate and system noise figure
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range: $160,000 - $220,000 per year, based on your level and experience. Additionally, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
