Community Manager - Overlook at Brook Run

Peak Living is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our tax credit community, Overlook at Brook Run. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service and leasing standards are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train community associates to ensure exceptional customer service and leasing standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax credit requirements and regulations.
  • Support and participate in marketing efforts to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Direct all marketing efforts to attract new residents and retain existing ones.
  • Prepare and process lease agreements, renewal letters, and other necessary documents.
  • Review resident files and accounting records to identify unpaid and/or late fees, communicate with residents, and implement procedures for collecting on delinquencies.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports, including occupancy, collections, and expenses.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Research and analyze market conditions to ensure rental rates, concessions, and security deposits are competitive.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager in multi-family housing or a similar industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college education, CAM or ARM certification preferred.
  • Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation preferred for LIHTC communities.
  • Valid driver's license required.
