Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Belmont Village Senior Living in San Ramon. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in overseeing the clinical and care aspects of our community, ensuring the highest level of quality care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate day-to-day operations of the community Wellness Center, ensuring seamless delivery of care services.
- Follow up on physicians' orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care information.
- Provide medication administration to an assigned group of residents according to physicians' orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations, documenting as necessary.
- Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing the tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers.
- Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive manner.
- Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports.
- Active LVN or LPN license in the state where this community is located.
- CPR Certified or ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
- Ability to work the defined schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
- Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to critically think and problem-solve in stressful or urgent situations.
- Dependable and self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, adept at guiding and directing teams.
- Works with a sense of urgency while paying close attention to detail.
- More than one year of medication management experience.
- Prior direct supervisory experience.
