About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as a Hospital Director at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the operational and financial management of our hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operations and financial health of the hospital, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with our Support Services departments to ensure the hospital's goals are met.
  • Oversee the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of staff, as well as the recruitment and hiring of doctors in conjunction with the Medical Director.
  • Work closely with the Medical Director to establish the best medical care while maintaining the positive financial health of the hospital.
  • Monitor employee competence and effectiveness, and assign job responsibilities to managers as needed.
  • Enforce policies and oversee disciplinary actions and terminations with HR guidance.
  • Organize and conduct staff meetings, and meet regularly with managers to discuss, evaluate, and plan for the welfare of the practice.
  • Administer and review non-medical client complaints, and oversee client flow to ensure timely and professional service.
  • Monitor and approve all expenditures within Ethos guidelines, and ensure compliance with OSHA and Safety program procedures.
  • Review income statements and other financial data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and profit improvement.
Requirements
  • College degree preferred; advanced degree ideal.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical care facility operations management with profit and loss responsibility.
  • Knowledge of financial budget management, sales and marketing techniques, and service-oriented operations management.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and effectively present ideas and concepts, as well as multi-task and deal with high levels of stress in a fast-paced environment.
