Job Title: Hospital Director of Veterinary Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Director to lead our veterinary hospital team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of the hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the hospital's operations, including financial management, marketing, and human resources.
  • Oversee the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of staff, as well as the management of doctor contracts.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to establish and implement medical policies and procedures.
  • Monitor employee performance and effectiveness, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical care facility operations management role with profit and loss responsibility.
  • College degree preferred; advanced degree ideal.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, clients, and vendors.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
