Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our team at CNG Holdings, Inc. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to customers, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage cash handling and sales operations, including processing transactions, handling customer complaints, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the store manager and district director to achieve sales and customer service goals, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those related to customer data protection and cash handling.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager or district director.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
  • Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Work Environment:

  • Call center/retail/office environment.
  • Extensive cash handling.
  • Extended phone usage.
  • Long periods of standing.
  • Extended viewing of computer screens and typing.

Travel and Attendance:

  • Must be able to travel to all stores within the assigned district with personal vehicle.
  • May be asked to travel to neighboring districts.
  • May require overnight travel.
