ManTech International Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Information System Security Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in providing technical security assessments, advice, and guidance to our government intelligence customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Validate and verify system security requirements and establish secure system designs.
  • Apply knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
  • Support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management activities.
  • Contribute to the development of security architectures and the implementation of secure systems.
  • Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation and provide feedback on completeness and compliance.
  • Apply system security engineering expertise in areas such as system security design, engineering life cycle, information domain, cross-domain solutions, and cryptography.
  • Support security authorization activities in compliance with the Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (ICD 503) and the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
  • Assist architects and systems developers in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security functionality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 5 or more years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • 7 or more years related experience and at least 4 or more years' experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity required.
  • CISSP certification or equivalent required.
  • Occasional travel, 25% CONUS.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment.
