Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating complex systems and mobility solutions for various business areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop test plans and support documentation to enable quality deployment of business mobility solutions
  • Provide 3rd level technical support for business mobility solutions (iPhone, tablet)
  • Gather requirements for business mobility solutions or technologies to facilitate deployment of new and/or improve maintenance of existing solutions
  • Contribute to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects
  • Develop solutions to a variety of engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Perform systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
  • Oversee moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
  • Perform systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Perform continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
  • Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology
Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI and CI polygraph
  • Must possess the required DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+CE preferred)
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 2+ years of experience

The likely salary range for this position is $96,050 - $129,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
