We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Williams-Sonoma University Village. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and personalized experience for every customer
- Operate a cash register, accurately processing transactions, handling returns, and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including the cash wrap area
- Engage with customers, offering product recommendations and promotions
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in retail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods
