We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. as a Holiday Seasonal Sales Associate at our University Village location.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service by offering personalized product recommendations and ensuring a unique shopping experience.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
- Assist customers with special services, including gift wrapping, gift registry, and locating merchandise.
- Efficiently and accurately perform register transactions, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining visual merchandise presentation, signage, and lighting.
- Uphold store maintenance and cleanliness standards, including straightening, cleaning, and maintaining the stockroom as needed.
- Process, ticket, and restock merchandise as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience and retail sales experience, with specialty retail experience preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time, operate a POS system, and lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
- Full-time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business, while part-time flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend and two during the week.
