We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Williams-Sonoma in University Village. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized service to customers, ensuring a positive and memorable shopping experience
- Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling sales, returns, and exchanges
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including the cash wrap area
- Engage with customers, offering product recommendations and promotions
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to operate a cash register and POS system
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds
