Job Summary

Clinical Trainer at California Retina Consultants

The Clinical Trainer plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing training programs for ophthalmic technicians and scribes within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive training curricula in collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders
  • Design engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, and multimedia content
  • Lead train-the-trainer sessions to equip internal trainers with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver training programs effectively
  • Deliver training sessions to ophthalmic technicians and scribes, both in-person and virtually
  • Offer ongoing support and mentorship to technicians and scribes, helping them enhance their skills and knowledge through continuous learning opportunities and development
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and gather feedback from participants and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Stay updated on current and best practices, federal and state regulatory requirements, and practice systems advancements
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding policies, procedures, and initiatives
