Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Ellenville Regional Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating and treating individuals with temporary or long-term physical disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients to determine the extent of their physical disabilities and develop a personalized treatment plan.
- Perform various tests to assess neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems and document findings.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs for athletic injuries.
- Design and implement safe and effective treatment programs to address functional limitations.
- Educate patients and their families on current functional status and provide documentation accordingly.
- Utilize safe patient handling equipment when necessary.
- Instruct patients and their families in the care and use of wheelchairs, assistive devices, prosthetics, braces, and orthotics when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Licensed to practice in Physical Therapy in the State of New York.
- 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
- Competitive salary: $51.00 per hour based on experience.
- Sign-on bonus: $7,500.
