Job Title: Dietitian

Job Summary:

Norton Sound Health Corporation is seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will provide medical nutrition therapy, develop and implement nutrition care plans, and provide health education to individuals and groups with chronic care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical nutrition therapy and develop nutrition care plans for individuals and groups in outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care settings.
  • Provide health education to individuals and groups with chronic care needs to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with communities to set and achieve community-based diabetes program outcomes and document achievements.
  • Plan and provide educational opportunities for specific groups in the region, including schools, community centers, and youth facilities.
  • Collaborate with health educators, dietitians, prevention coordinators, and other professionals to achieve program goals.
  • Lead, collaborate with, and assist with monitoring and reporting to satisfy grant requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
  • CDR Credential and State of Alaska licensure within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience as a Dietitian.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience.
