Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized interventional radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Competently perform interventional radiology procedures to produce quality images.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • 5 years of basic clinical and practical experience in a similar environment.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • General knowledge of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform routine MRI examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures.
