Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join our faculty at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing patient care, teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, and contributing to scholarly activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care in all aspects of clinical service for interventional radiology, including vascular and non-vascular procedures, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in a variety of settings, including the classroom and clinical environments.
  • Contribute to scholarly activities, including research and publication.
  • Participate in public and University service, including committee work and community outreach.

Requirements:

  • Possess an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree.
  • Have or be eligible for licensure in the State of California.
  • Be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and Vascular and Interventional Radiology (IR/DR Certification).
  • Have experience in providing patient care in all aspects of clinical service for interventional radiology, including vascular and non-vascular procedures, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Experience with and ability to teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Experience with and interest in clinical research.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated administrative leadership experience to develop multi-disciplinary collaborations and affiliations with other practices and our community partners.
  • Experience in collaborative and multi-disciplinary research.
