Job Description

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join our team in Sacramento, California.

Job Summary:

Competently performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce quality images.
  • Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills.
  • Executes safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results.
  • Gains confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Adheres to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or equivalent education/experience.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 Days of hire if required at the affiliate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years recent relevant experience.
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods.

Work Environment:

Job Shift: Days

Schedule: Part Time

Shift Hours: 8

Days of the Week: Monday - Friday

Weekend Requirements: None
