About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Freeport-McMoRan. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our industrial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Removal, repair, and installation of electrical components and basic to intermediate troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, installation, and repair of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  • One year of electrical experience, or an Associate's degree in electrical, or Electrical JTED certification.
  • Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
  • Effective written, verbal, and communication skills to satisfy training, safety, and electronic message transmission policies of the company.
  • Able to perform the essential functions of the job at the time of the job offer with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED or Associate's Degree in an electrical field.
What We Offer

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $22.50-$30.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits, or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
