As a Hardware Development Engineer II, you will work closely with our software and network engineering teams to develop and deliver cutting-edge hardware solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will be responsible for designing and developing server hardware, including motherboards, storage systems, and networking components.

We are looking for a talented Hardware Development Engineer II who is passionate about hardware development and has a strong background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-performance server hardware, including motherboards, storage systems, and networking components.
- Collaborate with software and network engineering teams to develop and deliver cutting-edge hardware solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with vendors and ODM/JDM design teams to develop and manufacture hardware products at scale.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new technologies and processes to improve hardware development efficiency and quality.
- BS degree in EE, CE, or CS.
- 3+ years of experience with complex server, storage, or network server designs.
- 3+ years of experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, functional test procedures, and operational repair plans.
- 3+ years of experience with debug and root cause analysis of PCIe, memory, storage subsystems, or networking.
- Experience with developing monitoring and alerting systems to quickly identify and categorize failures in production environments.
- Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume.
- Master's Degree in EE, CE, or CS.
- Experience in developing functional design specifications, validation plans, and functional test procedures.
- Experience in motherboard design, PCB design, including schematic capture, stackup, and circuit board layout.
- Experience in server components architecture, power analysis, signal and power integrity, and system-level issue root cause analysis.
- Platform debug experience with OS such as Linux/Unix and Windows.
- Experience using hardware lab equipment such as digital scope, logic analyzer, and possess some soldering skills.
- Capable in Python and UEFI scripting.
- Experience with server technologies: BIOS, BMC, signal integrity, memory, storage, PCIe, thermal.
- Experience with deploying and operating hardware and applications at scale.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
