Hardware Product Design Engineer

At Apple, we're looking for a talented Hardware Product Design Engineer to join our Mac Engineering team. As a key member of our design team, you'll work closely with other engineers and designers to create innovative and user-friendly products that exceed our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new hardware products
- Develop and maintain design specifications, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
- Work with external vendors and internal manufacturing teams to optimize designs for function, cosmetics, and manufacturability
- Ensure design meets requirements throughout its lifecycle by performing stress, tolerance, and failure analyses
Requirements:
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years experience in a mechanical engineering role
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including solid mechanics, material science, and heat transfer
