Continuous Improvement Engineer Co-Op

Job Description:

At Entegris, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team. This role is designed to provide a unique opportunity for a recent graduate or young professional to gain hands-on experience in process improvement and lean six sigma methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct 6S, Gowning, and Tier Board audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Create Standard Work for processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Develop and implement SOPs to standardize procedures
  • Conduct Time studies to analyze process efficiency
  • Create Current and Future state Value Stream maps to visualize process improvements
  • Develop Process Maps to illustrate process flow
  • Document and participate in 5 Whys and Fishbone root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues
  • Participate in Kaizen Workshops to drive continuous improvement
  • Determine the 8 wastes of Lean to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • 1-2 years of experience working in related industries
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working on a Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Management
  • Lean Certification
  • Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt
