Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op

Job Summary: Entegris is seeking a motivated and self-directed Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to join our team in Billerica, MA. As a key member of our Manufacturing Operations team, you will work closely with production and senior process engineers to drive initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance in projects that improve operational efficiency and deliver savings that support corporate objectives.
- Identify root causes and propose solutions to improve processes.
- Apply manufacturing best practices to drive safety, quality, reliability, and predictability into all processes.
- Work with teams to identify problems, analyze information, and develop and implement process solutions.
- Assist in directing and controlling processes in accordance with defined policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Motivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to reach out, communicate, and influence personnel at all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated hands-on problem-solving skills utilizing good engineering principles.
- Ability to work with a diverse team in terms of background and skill sets.
- Embody a sense of ownership and passion for the process and drive improvements through creative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with lean manufacturing practices and/or 6sigma certification(s).
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Proven leadership experience.
