Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Project Manager to lead and manage multiple technology projects for our organization. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

About the Role

The Software Development Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development of custom software applications, ensuring they meet the organization's specific business needs and requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and experience in leading and managing IT development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple technology projects, including project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for software applications, including user manuals, technical specifications, and design documents.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure software applications are aligned with the organization's technology needs and effective in supporting operations.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and make recommendations for adopting new technologies as needed.
  • Provide support to end-users as needed, troubleshooting issues, and resolving technical problems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with experience in multiple programming languages and development tools.
  • Strong technical background, with expertise in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C++, or C#, and experience with development tools like Git, JIRA, and Visual Studio.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and direct cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $112,450.00 - $203,275.00 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
