WSP is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic Northern California Transportation team. This position can be based out of our Roseville, CA or San Jose, CA office.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance for the design, development, and construction of transportation infrastructure projects and systems in the public and private sector.
- Generate accurate and concise documentation regarding assigned aspects of the project.
- Ensure that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, and functionality.
As a Structural Engineer at WSP, you will be responsible for:
- Providing design services for transportation infrastructure projects from planning through construction.
- Preparing plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation infrastructure projects.
- Performing structural design, evaluation, and analysis focusing on bridges or other transportation-related structures.
- Developing engineering reports and preliminary engineering concepts.
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering discipline and prior structural or civil design experience.
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to project work-related issues.
- Master of Science Degree in Structural Engineering, from an accredited program.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of California (or ability to obtain registration in California if registered in another state or agency).

CompensationExpected Salary (all locations): $82,400 - $125,400
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
