Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Harrison Senior Living of Chester County. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality resident care and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume charge and direction of the nursing unit, collaborating with the Director of Resident Services to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement nurse aide assignments to meet resident needs, ensuring adequate staffing and resource allocation.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or issues.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Conduct regular assessments and updates of resident support plans, ensuring individualized care and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, promoting resident-centered care and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance communication, share best practices, and address any concerns or issues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Document all care provided, including medications, treatments, and resident interactions, ensuring accurate and timely recording of events.
  • Provide input on nurse aide performance, contributing to the development of a high-performing team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Practical Nurse license in good standing from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Proven management, communication, and observation skills, with a passion for geriatric care.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Word, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
