Key Responsibilities- Assume charge and direction of the nursing unit, collaborating with the Director of Resident Services to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and implement nurse aide assignments to meet resident needs, ensuring adequate staffing and resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or issues.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Conduct regular assessments and updates of resident support plans, ensuring individualized care and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, promoting resident-centered care and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance communication, share best practices, and address any concerns or issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Practical Nurse license in good standing from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Proven management, communication, and observation skills, with a strong interest in geriatric care.
- Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Word, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
