Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to work with our patients in Coronado, California. As a Physical Therapist with Mission Healthcare, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care.
Responsibilities- Assess patients for muscle strength, mobility, gait, and range of motion
- Direct physical therapy treatment and determine priority needs for physical therapy
- Initiate physical therapy programs and instruct other personnel and/or family/caregivers in certain phases of physical therapy
- Supervise homemaker/home health aides when participating in patient rehabilitation
- Identify patient and family/caregiver needs for other home health services and refer as necessary
- Participate in discharge planning for patients
- Prepare and submit clinical progress summaries based on the attainment of goals directed by Organization policy
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited organization
- Community/home health experience preferred
- Travel - This is a traveling position
- Competitive hourly rate: $40 - $65
