Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement highly complex logical and physical databases
  • Lead large-scale data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts
  • Develop management policies, procedures, and standards for database administration
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to less experienced staff
  • Administer, test, and implement databases, applying knowledge of database management systems
Requirements:
  • 7 years of experience in logical design and physical design
  • Experience with data modeling using ERSTUDIO
  • 7 years of demonstrated experience leading efficiency improvements and implementation of DB policies and procedures
  • 7 years of experience in DB2 z/OS database administration tasks
  • 3 years of application design and 3 years of COBOL, DB2, SQL, and JCL programming experience
  • 3 years of experience with CA DB2 Tools
  • 3 years of VSAM File structure processing
  • 3 years of TSO/ISPF/SDSF or equivalent products
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, or related products
  • CICS, SAS, Syncsort, IBM Utilities, Easytrieve
