AnMed’s Medical Support Specialist

The Medical Support Specialist provides quality patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Key responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting, as well as monitoring and documenting patient vital signs and medical information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Monitors and documents patient vital signs and medical information.
  • Participates in hourly rounds on patients to assess pain, positioning, and toileting needs.
  • Communicates learning needs to charge nurse or nurse manager.
Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required for this role, with previous experience preferred. RN students may also be eligible to apply for the Student Nurse Technician program, provided they can provide a copy of their college transcript showing successful completion of class requirements.
