As a key member of the team reporting to the Head of Monetization, Packaging, and Pricing Strategy, you will be responsible for devising and implementing strategies for market entry that align with product monetization and customer value.
Your contributions will be pivotal to our strategic direction and overall success. You will engage in solving intricate business challenges that are critical to our leadership team. We expect you to collaborate effectively to collect and analyze data, develop and test hypotheses, independently lead problem-solving initiatives, and create and present recommendations to management. Additionally, you will support execution and manage a diverse array of cross-functional stakeholders, including Product, Marketing, Finance, and Engineering teams. Our objective is to consistently identify value and opportunities for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate business model strategies for core platform offerings and emerging markets.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape the product monetization approach.
- Work across functions to implement new business models within Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance.
- Oversee the operational execution and implementation of pricing and monetization strategies.
- Act as a mentor, enhancing the capabilities of your team members.
You possess a deep understanding of monetization and business model strategies, informed by insights into customer needs, market dynamics, and technological advancements. You are analytical and inquisitive, with a strong proficiency in financial modeling. You excel at simplifying complex concepts into clear, actionable strategies and are adept at communicating these ideas both in writing and visually. You are resourceful, results-oriented, and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree; an MBA from a top institution is preferred but not mandatory.
- 6+ years of experience in pricing, management consulting, investment banking, product management, or business operations.
- Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to translate financial models into content suitable for executive audiences.
- A strong enthusiasm for technical products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
