Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Infusion Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of chemotherapy and other medications to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective drug therapy management to improve patient outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure accurate dispensing and clinical interaction
  • Monitor patient care and supervise pharmacy technicians
  • Ensure adherence to institutional high-risk standards and guidelines for chemotherapy and biotherapy handling and dispensing
  • Provide educational services to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Report and investigate adverse drug reactions and medication errors
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree
  • Completed Oncology Specialty Residency or 5 years of experience in oncology
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive institutional oncology pharmaceutical experience or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY1)
  • Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Florida
