We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Specialist to join our team. As an Electronics Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting complex electrical/electronic subassemblies or assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Inspection: Perform bench-type processes to complete electrical/electronic assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools and equipment such as soldering iron, wire-cutters, electronic and pneumatic tooling.
- Follow Established Methods: Follow established methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Verification and Quality Control: Verify completed assembly against specification and make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Teamwork and Communication: Apply skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment, as appropriate to area of specialization, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years experience in assembly and measuring tools preferred.
- Skills: Able to interpret visual aids, demonstrate ability to solder using SN96 or HMP, and possess manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Work Environment: Must be able to work in a fast-pace environment with a sense of urgency, sit for extended periods during the 8 hour shift, and visually inspect small items for accuracy.
Required to sit and/or stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment; talk and hear in person; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasionally may need to exert up to 30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move objects.
