Aquatics Lifeguard Job Description

At Uhlife, we're committed to creating a healthy and inclusive community that supports all individuals on their path to wellness. As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor pool areas and respond to emergencies with confidence and poise.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with members in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized pool environment.
  • Participate in aquatics events and activities, such as "Dive in Movies" and "Poolapalooza," to enhance the member experience.

Requirements:

  • Working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Lifeguard and First Aid Certification.
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping and tread water for 1 minute.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 6 months of customer service experience.
