Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and evaluate the healthcare delivery program, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations.
  • Align medical, dental, and mental health initiatives with company policies and accreditation standards, guaranteeing regulatory compliance.
  • Navigate the complex healthcare administration landscape to uphold the highest standards of care within the organization.
Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise program implementation and efficiency, focusing on financial assessment and process enhancements while upholding regulatory standards.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, and maintain transparent communication.
  • Manage medical personnel licensure, insurance, and compliance, oversee contracted services, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Monitor and optimize healthcare utilization, drive quality care and cost-effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison for accreditation processes and engage in quality improvement initiatives through audits and adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience: Experience in delivering correctional medical, dental, and mental health care is recommended. Three years of administrative, management, and supervisory experience required. Strong decision-making skills are essential. Operational and planning experience is necessary. Previous budget management and contract analysis experience preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid CPR certification.
