Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Hostess to join our team at Village Inn. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for welcoming guests to our restaurant and ensuring that they have a positive dining experience. This includes greeting guests as they enter, seating them at tables, and providing them with menus and answering any questions they may have.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Welcome and Seating: Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and seat them at tables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Menu Provision and Answering Questions: Provide guests with menus and answer any questions they may have about our menu items.
  • Table Management: Manage the flow of guests into the dining area and ensure that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests.
  • Transaction Management: Manage transactions with guests, including taking orders and processing payments.
  • Guest Engagement: Engage with guests to ensure that they are having a positive dining experience and address any concerns they may have.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old and meet any other state age or labor requirements.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods of time, move quickly and efficiently, and lift up to 75 pounds.
